Surviving Family Camping Trips

Family vacations can be stressful unless you plan in advance and make sure that all members of the family will have enough to do when on a camping trip. Children under the age of three will be very difficult to care for during a camping trip and one parent will have to miss out on family activities such as hiking and canoeing because these are not activities that young children should participate in. Before planning a camping trip, decide whether your children are old enough to enjoy it. Choose a campground that has activities for children or one that is located near activities.
